Interview: Luxor International - Creating stationery with an honourable cause

Question (Q): Would you like to give readers a short introduction about Luxor International?
Answer (A): We would like to introduce Luxor as one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of markers. We currently export our products to over 95 countries including the USA, Australia, Japan, Canada, UK, Germany, Sweden, UAE and many others. We are a global leader and trendsetter in the writing and colouring instruments space.

We manufacture a complete range of writing instruments including permanent markers, white board markers, highlighters, ball pens, roller ball pens, mechanical pencils, kids colouring range, and metal pens. We also produced a complete product range as Ecowrite. We have all the necessary International compliances related to our products like ACMI, CE, REACH, EN-71, BS 7272 Part-I and Part-II, and manufacturing process like the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications. Our production capacity is 1500 million units per annum.

Q: What would you say is Luxor International’s vision as a company?
A: To build our brand value by delivering best in-class products to our customers and consumers faster and better than our competition.

Q: With the constant reminder to do good for the earth, businesses are now taking steps in ensuring eco-friendly products and equipment. How has Luxor International’s Ecowrite Series faired?
A: We have had good response to our Ecowrite range in countries like Coasta Rica, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Uganda, Belgium, France, Spain, Australia and more.

Q: Is the Ecowrite Series trending particularly?
A: There has been an increase in demand for these products with the growing awareness and concern about ecological issues.

Q: Would you recommend the Ecowrite Series as the better alternative for clients?
A: Luxor Ecowrite products are eco-friendly writing instruments. It is an initiative to leave a cleaner, greener, and better world for tomorrow.

Q: Could all your products and collections possibly be eco-friendly in the foreseeable future?
A: With the advancement of technology, there is a strong likelihood that it could happen.

Women empowerment is crucial in this society and could potentially change the world all around.

Q: Why did Luxor International choose to use this platform to promote women empowerment and how did you come up with the idea?
A: Luxor is a women-owned organisation certified by “WE CONNECT” International. Hence, there is an equal opportunity for all employees with no bias against any gender. With Luxor, there will not be gender discrimination.

Q: Has the promotion of woman-empowerment effected any change in Luxor International and its environment?
A: Having an empowered team has helped increase the cohesiveness and commitment levels of work all around the organisation.

Q: Luxor is the brand leader in the Indian writing instrument industry and has a wide range of business interests. What do you think has contributed to Luxor’s success?
